One thing that really pisses me off is that many of our industry’s leaders, press, execs, bloggers, techies all smoke pot. But they’ll NEVER come out and say it publicly. That’s hypocrisy.

We need to ‘stand up for our rights‘ - as Bob Marley used to sing. It is now 4:20 on 4/20/09.

How much longer do we have to wait to repeal these bad laws?

Today I made my first real adult decision. I decided to stay a kid a little longer

{start rant} I did not work hard to slowly, but organically build my influence in order to use it to boost people’s ranks in silly contests, to hock bad ideas or to retweet stuff I don’t care about! {/end rant}

I really hate the activity that comes out of an obsession with numbers. Think QUALITY, people, not QUANTITY. It’s a long term play. The other stuff is fleeting and meaningless. Really.

The reason we like and live social media and blogging is because we get the opportunity to give a piece of us - to open up and be vulnerable because it shows our human side and ultimately will help you decide whether or not you want to do business with us.

Yes we make a living from real estate - but the connections and friendships we make in the process mean so much more than the commission check at the end of a transaction.
